WOYWW 215

Good morning folks
Time for another weekly round up of desks, hosted as always, by Julia at Stamping Ground. HERE is the link.
My desk this week, starting with the overview
On the easel is this canvas which you may remember seeing in various stages. Well, finally it is finished and there is more about that on yesterdays post if you are interested.
Then on the left are some bits and pieces from a class sample I'm working on for August, using some of my new PaperArtsy stamps. Peeking out you can just see one of my other new sets, the Eclectica one from PaperArtsy too.
Then, how do you like this mirror, brass frame, porthole rounded glass and the princely sum of £1.00 at the boot fair Sunday. I couldn't resist!
Lastly, I'm on the final stages of this Prince of Persia journal page which I am really liking. Just need to finish the writing now.
You can see the first stages here, it just needs to be blacked in.
So, that's my place this week...... yours?

I like the overview..the individual pieces are scarey - so much going on in one man's mind! I'm glad the porthole mirror speaks to you - says not a single thing to me...until you do your magic with it!

Neil, the canvas is wonderful. It's art that demands to be touched, especially with the notebook attached. Something like that would be great as a gift for a special occasion, like a wedding or special anniversary because guests could be invited to write in the notebook. Happiest of WOYWWs to you. ~ Laura #101

SO this is my first visit, your blog is AWESOME!!! I don't even know where to begin. You are truly a talented individual. The canvas is fabulous what will you do with now that finished the project??? That's the kind of stuff I'm working on achieveiving with my journey. Your stamps are awesome, your journal pages are brilliant, I can keep going but my adjectives are literally escaping me at the moment. Mine pales in comparison. BTW.. my name is Kim, I'm very pleased to meet ya!!! I'm definitely a new follower. :D I don't want to miss anything that rolls off your desk. Sorry, I'm gushing!!! I promise I'm not a creepy stalker. Please feel free to pop over to my blog. I have been at the whole Art Journaling journey about A yr now, and I'm trying to learn. Art does't come easy to me. I can craft, but when I became disabled, my goal is to learn art to deal with that loss of my life the way it used to be, so I can manage now. You will see I get caught up in fiddly work, rather that the stuff that I should be working on, more productive work. Sorry Didn't mean to sound like crazy cousin fiona who is in crisis mode. It just your blog has some great Tut's, and just wonderful feel of community already .A place where I can most definitelt leave feeling good. Have a great weekend. (((HUGS)))
