Good morning everyone
Hope you are all well. Another week has flown past in a blur and it's time for the wonderful world of WOYWW, hosted as ever by Julia at Stamping Ground so hop on by for the details.
Here is my little world for today........
It is a lot tidier than it was a little while ago when everything had just been dumped on it from the weekend! Then I decided I'd better get it packed away so set to it. So this is the eagle shot and starting stage left we have....
a luscious pile of stuff to play with. The thing about demoing is that you end up with a pile of unfinished bits; now I need to get them made into something! I love the top one, so many lovely layers, Distress paints, treasure gold, UTEE, black paint.....
I have started finishing this canvas which I started at the weekend; still a way to go on it yet though.
This is the project I did for Friday's class. I have just tweaked it a bit and turned it into a triptych and just in front there is something really exciting......
Yes, I was gifted this Tim Holtz tin container this weekend. Anyone who know these will know that these are as scarce as hens teeth. I have the Alcohol Ink tin and now I have this one which was originally designed for Paint Dabbers but is also the perfect size for the new Distress Paints!
Isn't it cool?! place for 20 paints and the sponges I use with the paints just slot in nicely too. I feel very blessed to have received this and I know some folk are already green......
Then, in the post yesterday I received this lovely ATC from Shaz in Australia, along with a beautiful poem. It was a lovely surprise so thank you very much Shaz.
The last thing on my desk is just a couple of experiments with Pastes, Distress Paints and Treasure Gold, I'll tell you more about that later. Until then, I hope you have a great day.

Your desk is looking fab this morning - I don't know if it is the colours, the sunshine or what but it is looking really warm and appealing - a work of art in itself! Love your canvas - I've got the perfect spot for it if you should find it surplus to requirements... :0) MMx #68
Everything is so fabulous, love that canvas, I can't wait to see it finished and the gold and red card, wow. That case sure does look very special. You always have so many fantastic things I just never know where to look.
Have a great week.

I definitely have container envy! I've got the alcohol ink one and that would go so well with it!!
I love the canvas and triptych. Happy WOYWW. Pam#9
Love the container, you are so lucky! and that gold piece with the cogs... is just gorgeous... every time I visit you I want to come visit and actually see the things in real life.
Happy WOYWW from Annette #8
Hi Neil... ah what a great post, love the tin of paint dabbers (trying not to covet, green eyes etc :D) and the project is so great too, and so pleased the atc made it although looks like the black stamped images wore off in transit.. maybe should have placed between inserts as automatic sorting is deadly on ink on gloss card .. my post shows how it was when it left here - the one below WOYWW and show three stamps used to make image. Must try and remember that on posting for next year... and for Christmas, etc.!
happy WOYWW and thanks for popping over, Shaz in Oz.x #7

Hi Neil, lovely to find your blog. I spent some time watching you demo this weekend - I took lots of videos and really appreciated the time you took showing me how to use the different techniques. Thank you! It is lovely to hear about your own experience, and how lucky to own that container for your paints! Yes, green is a colour that comes to mind! Love what you did with the Friday class - the tri fold page is a great idea. Good to meet you at the Craft Barn and I will certainly be trying out the techniques you showed me. Thank You!
Liking your canvas. It is going to be gorgeous.
I would love a rummage through your samples. I am sure I could lessen the load for you!

I've never even heard of the TH containers, learn something everyday, but if they are so rare, there is no need to look for them now, lol waving hi from the hills of North Carolina ♥ #12
Your desk is a delight as always. So many great things going on. What a gorgeous pile of papers, all vying with each other to be seen. I love the ATC from Shaz, and the stencil work at the bottom. Kate x #33

Neil, thank you so much for visiting and suggesting I use distress inks on my journal page. Can't believe I didn't think of it. As ever I'm jealous of your craft space, especially the luscious pile of stuff. If you need a home for it, I could offer it love and creativity!
Happy belated WOYWW,
