It's been a whirlwind few days with too much to share on one post so I'll spread it out a bit so I don't bore you with too many photos.....
As many of you will know, this weekend was The Craft Barn's annual Extravaganza, a weekend of classes and free demonstrations from more than 20 fabulous people and I feel very fortunate to have been a part of it all.
Originally I was due to have a small taster class on the Saturday morning and then demonstrate in the afternoon and on Sunday too. Unfortunately due to personal reasons Lindsey Mason was unable to attend as planned and I was asked if I could take her class on Friday. Well, that added to the pressure as I had very little time to plan and do a project with her new stamps (That I had not seen or used before!) Still we made it and on Friday, 13 lovely ladies gathered in the marquee to have a day of creating 3 lovely canvasses.
One thing that always thrills me is to see how, even when using the same products, everyone creates something unique and personal. I love how the houses have been created in this one.
Bright and cheerful colours really pop out here.
You can see from the next photos how different colours change them.
We were working with Distress Paints, Distress Markers and a bit of Dylusions for good measure too. Finishing bling was provided with Liquid Pearls.
All in all, it was a great day, the ladies in the shop didn't forget us and we were kept filled with tea and coffee so thank you to them. Then it was off to the hotel to try and get some rest before heading back to set up for Saturday. I forgot to take pictures in my class and didn't get chance to take any other pictures in the afternoon, other than grabbing my buddy Mark to take this one of me which I like! I told you I'd be wearing my top hat and the Goggles I made with a Tando Creative kit. I even had my bow tie too, just not by my collar!
It was a great start to the weekend and I'll be back tomorrow with plenty more pictures from Sunday.
Until then, I'd better carry on unpacking my bags.....

It looks a great weekend (as I know from previous years) just wish it hadn't clashed with the WOYWW crop, it would have been great to go again.
Hi Neil

Looks look a grand time....I am in awe of those googles they look uber cool!! Thanks for the pix - it's always fund to see things from the same class that turn out so differently. I love it when folks in my classes take off in their own direction!
Looks like everyone had a great time. Nothing better than crafting with friends, even if you have only just met.....
