Another couple of journal page and follower giveaway winner

Good morning friends
I hope you are all well. It's a lovely sunny day here so I am looking forward to working in the studio with the door wide open!
But before I do that I thought I'd share another couple of recent pages in my journals.
This first one is using my stamps, Kiki and Franswar.
The background has been done with Distress Stains with a spritz of water too. I stamped Kiki directly onto the page and also onto white card. I cut the face out and added that to the page to give a crisp image. A dress was added with Dylusions ink in a brush and I gave her a funky doodled hairstyle with markers inks and pens. I added the quote which I think is very apt.
Franswar got a similar make over on the other side; as a jester. Don't you love the hat! I used one of the word stamps from The Artistic Stamper to create a sign. I used my hatched border stamp to create the ground and to add interest to the top of the page too. Lots of added doodle details too.

Some of the details.

Then there is this page using Katzelkraft tree stamps and a Visible Image character. Now, if you come to my journaling classes you will know that I often say you shouldn't rip out pages just because you don't like them.... well this was an exception LOL. I majorly messed up on the right side of the page with an experiment and in a fit of pique ripped the page out! But this is where serendipity stepped in and I loved how the dark autumn colours of the left flowed into the spring like colours on the right. So I stuck the pages down and carried on.
I bordered the page with trees and leaves and added some colour. Then this little girl told me that this page was for her so who am I to argue?
I coloured her in with Distress Markers, added some "ground to the page and glued her down before writing the words.
This page is all about new beginnings; leaving an old life behind and entering the new. For me it is an expression of faith and new life found in a relationship with God and how it brings a new chapter into a person's life. I do like this page very much and was glad to salvage it!
I'm entering this page into the Visible Image challenge too as it fits the bill.

Now, I was supposed to announce the winner of my Follower giveaway on Wednesday but it slipped my mind, sorry! Thank you for all of you who left me a comment, it is a pity I can't send something to everyone! Still, I popped all the names into the proverbial hat and the winner is..............

............NAN G...................

Please email me your address details Nan so I can pop it into the post for you!

Hope you all have a lovely afternoon folks.

Hi Neil
Great colourful pages. Good luck with your challenge entry. She is gorgeous. I've done a fair bit of ripping out this week. Just can't seem to please myself at all.

Hi Neil,

I'm lovin' these pages, especially like your torn page. Just shows you that a mistake (tearing out a page in temper LOL) is always a creative opportunity!! I also love your stamp range. Congratulations on the launch, I hope it grows into a huge success for you.

Cheers from Australia.

LOVE your art journaling pages!!! Wish I was closer and I would take one of your classes. I really enjoy coming and visiting your blog :-).
