I hope you are all well. On my desk yesterday you may have seen a journal page, with lots of lovely bright colours. Here it is in proper detail.
The background was done by popping some peel offs onto the right side and covering the page with a coat of gesso. I then added a base colour of blue inks which was nice and vibrant.
I Stamped Fantasy Background onto the left hand page and then I began to randomly stamp the background with two of my background stamps,
Retro Square and Doodle. I over-stamped the corresponding Border stamps on various edges and used ink filled brushes to add colours to them. The Visible Image Characters were stamped onto white card and coloured using bright colours before attaching.
I added a solid base for the guy and chopped his foot off so that it looks like he is climbing up.
I used a black marker to define areas and add the sentiment. A white pen adds some highlighted details too.
I really enjoyed creating this page and it's definitely a favourite at the moment!
