Good evening friends......
Well, another crazy week is finished.
I did manage to get a couple of watercolour journals made which I was pleased to get finished before Saturday's craft fair.
This one. Gorgeous colours with an amazing metallic finish too.
As I used a spine binding I decided to have fun with the binding and made it much more of a feature
Some vintage sheet music for fun.
Then a few bright and funky fabric covered watercolour pads.
It is less than two weeks til my job finishes, so my wife and I are having long conversations. Weaving our plans and dreams for a more creative lifestyle. This is something that has been in the background for a long time but now we are determined to make it happen so big, in fact, huge changes are afoot.....so it's a scary yet exhilarating time.

Neil, I love your journals; they are so different and interesting! I wish you and your wife a very wonderful future. I know it's hard to find oneself out of a job--unsettling and very scary. My husband was laid off when our 3 boys were small, but it did work out in the end, and during the interval he accomplished some things he thought he would never get the time to do. So I wish you both some peace and happy adventures for the next while. Blessings to you both.
