Hi guys.
I hope you are all well. I can honestly say I haven't a clue what has happened to this year. I blink and a week has disappeared, two blinks and a month has vanished into thin air!
Enough already, just slow down a bit please.
I did manage to carve out a little bit of journaling time last week though, which I thought I'd take a moment to share with you.
As you can see by the state of my paws, I had a good time.
The base was a piece of A4 scrap which was too cool to toss so I ripped a couple of the sides and glued it into the journal.
I stamped Gathered Twigs directly onto the page randomly to add interest.
I stamped my Fantasy 2 background onto a piece of card, edged it with the Distress ink and glued it down.
Time to raid my washer box. I probably have told you this before; but I pick these up off the street as I walk. I find it very difficult to pass them by as they have such wonderful rust and scratches.
Then I began to add some layers with paint and a mask (my Random 1 mask)
Adding paint shadows
Using my cloth to add random circles to the page and generally working instinctively. There was no planning or thought process, I just let it evolve.
I used a beautiful Visible Image stamp to add my sentiment to the page.
To finish I added a border with my Fantasy border stamp.
I thoroughly enjoyed the process and am very happy with the finished page.
Also last week I had a scrapbook layout over on The Craft Barn blog HERE which I also enjoyed doing. I'd love you to take a closer look....
So here's a peek.
Catch you all later.

Lovely mucky fingers and a great atmospheric page spread. No idea where the year went - pretty scary!
