WOYWW 259

Good morning folks.
Desk sharing time again! Well; I'm back in a huge mess after deciding I need to work on 4 different things at once! I do sometimes wonder why my inspiration can't form an orderly queue at the door and come in one by one.....
Never have these words been more true in my life; " I'm creative, you can't expect me to be tidy too"

First, the arty "blurred shot" you know, the one you didn't know was blurry until you up loaded it.....
New additions to the family. Volume 3 of the Compendium. Loving the mask!
I couldn't resist this roll of Da Vinci paper too though not sure exactly what I'll do with it yet.
The book from Sunday's class waiting patiently for the finishing touches......
Then, I have finally started to work on a "cupboard" bought about two years ago! Just playing with ideas at the moment and doing an aged metal background.
Lastly, just been cutting a pile of Frameworks ready to use as and when needed. So that's my work place this morning, plenty more can be found at Stamping Ground so why don't you join the party? Take care folks and I'll see you soon.

Hi Neil,
I have the same box cupboard and I am just as bad. I have had mine for a couple of years but just keep looking at it.
Will get round to doing something with it soon. Look forward to seeing yours finished.
Happy crafting, Angela x

As always, loads of interest on your wonderful desk, Neil! I agree with you about the quite disgraceful disorderliness of one's creative ideas. Never do they come singly, but always in battalions lol! I always have lots of different projects on the go, and thank goodness for a studio where it doesn't matter so much, as I've got loads of room to spread things out. Result = total mess! ROFL!!

I love the steampunkiness coming along with your amazing cupboard. I am very interested in the aged metal technique you will be using. I am planning on making some steampunk wheelchair spoke guards with loads of gearwheels and want to do some sort of grungey metal background but not decided how to do it yet.

Thanks for your visit and your nice comment about my book. So far I'm very pleased, especially as it's my first attempt at a book, and I'm loving the layered borders of the gradated pages. Last week I spent some time wandering around your blog and have to say I came away full of inspiration for backgrounds etc. etc.

Hope you are having a good week. So far ours is pretty busy, with various celebrations for my hubby's 65th birthday and retirement - all very enjoyable but tiring too, and I don't want it to take me away too much from my ARTHaven!!

Happy WOYWW,

All very productive - I totally get the many projects at once thing. It keeps it fresh, don'tcha think? :) I've wondered about book 23 - loved the first one, was less keen on the 2nd (mostly cause I didn't have as much of the STUFF used for the techniques) and am dithering abut book 3. I'll watch to see what you share from it :)

Happy near 5 year WOYWW!

Great busy desk this week ! I am a multi-project-er too ! At least I can kid myself it is just to let things dry whilst I move onto the next project ! thanks for visiting Ali #6

Making time to cut multiples and put them into stock is such a good idea..it helps when the orderly queue thing isn't happening!,

I thought it was normal to be working on at least 4 things at once? That is my minimum! Ideas in an orderly Q? That made me laugh! They are always falling over each other in my head to get to the front first! #25
