WOYWW 214

Good morning folks
Well, it's been a couple of weeks since I've been around here. Life just got in the way a bit. It's still a bit mad but I've missed you lot!
If you don't know what I'm on about, pop on over to Stamping Ground where Julia hosts this weekly desk round up.
So, here is my desk, taken before going to work, hence the sunshine. Firstly, the overview........

One day, I may get somewhere with canvas! this about the third or fourth layer and I'm still not sure what the end result will be! Still, that's the joys of a creative journey.
Then, my daughter and I are having fun with a daily "word" to illustrate. Underwater was one of them. We are doing this as a fun way to get some sketching time.
Then, I'm working on this journal page. Sands of Time. It'll be fun to see where it goes....
Some bits and pieces, Still thinking where to put the clock. The canvas is going to be part of  another piece and the little bug has been changed from plastic to gold just for fun.
And lastly, since it's been a while, here's a wider view of my little crafty cave! The canvas propped on the chair is where the little canvas is going to be going soon.
So there you have my world, hope you enjoyed your visit. Take care and I hope you all have an amazing week.

Love that last picture that gives a real view of your craft space!
It's okay that life gets in the way of our craft from time to time It's about having a balanced life and people are important Especially our children I find its those that I love that gives me the inspiration for many scrapbook layouts!!!! And make me want to create..... Not to long ago I was told as my daughter lay in bed in hospital that I might loose her..... I didn't and couldn't craft for months till she was on the mend all I did was tidy my craft room!!!
So no sorry s when you miss a few weeks as life is busy !!!!!

You have such a creative space Neil, what I would give for a space like that but for now I’m happy with my little room, even if it does need a face lift.

I love the fact that you and your daughter can spend craft time together working on sketching projects, I bet you’re a fantastic inspiration to her.

Happy Crafting!

Like the idea of you and your daughter sharing a daly word. Isn't it funny how different we all are- i can't bear the thought of something unfinished knocking about..I NEED to finish if I start..a 'journey' that involves 4 layers would drive me mad. And Because of that, I tend not to start stuff...odd, huh.

What an exciting place to work in. Love the project with your daughter. That is precious time well spent!
I have just read your later post and I love the little heart. I have used the metal tape over chipboard letters but hadn't thought to put it over a moulded shape. Hmm...
