A trio of minis

Hi there friends
As many of you will know, I love books and love making them too. So I thought I'd share this trio of mini books that I made recently.
The largest one on the left, is 6cm square. I used chipboard for the covers and my Geometric mask and Grunge Paste to add texture. Once it was dry I added layers of Treasure Gold in various colours over it.  I used watercolor paper for the pages and bound it with my Bind it All. The smallest one (Bottom) is about 2.5cm square and is made with Vintaj Brass blanks. They were embossed using the specialist folders and sanded to reveal the brass. There is a spine made from Binding cloth and the pages are made from ordinary paper, inked up (You'll see them in one of the other photos)
I think this is my favourite one of the bunch. The cover is leather, die cut using Tim's ATC die and embossed with one of his embossing folders. The Tim Holtz embossing folders are best I find for embossing thicker materials as they seem to be deeper than most others. I've highlighted the design with Treasure Gold in Copper and also with black paint. The watercolor paper has been bound simply to the cover with a single stitch. Before gluing the end papers down I threaded a tie through and the glued the front and back pages to the cover with double sided adhesive.
So, you can see a bit of the pages in these pictures.
The charms I've used are from a bracelet, aren't they great? I think I need to go and get some more as they are filled with small wings, feather and other bits and marked down to a pound. I used a glue gun to secure them as that seems to give the strongest hold.

Now, I just need to decide what to put in them! Hope you all have a great weekend and do something fun.
