WOYWW 204

Goodly morning friends
Julia of Stamping Ground has got us all hooked on a big show and tell of workplaces every Wednesday. So, here I am AGAIN, sharing my workplace. However, this week I'm not showing you my shed, not because it's a mess or anything. It's just that I've been working on my dining table the last couple of days. So that is what you get to see today!

Not too messy (I'd be hung, drawn, quartered and shot at dawn if I dared to bring Dylusions spray inks near this table) So because I've been working with pens rather than paint; and the computer is here too; and I had stuff here from Sunday's class that really should have been packed away but wasn't ..... I just stayed.
A few weeks ago you may remember this pouch was closed on my desk. A few of you wanted to know what was inside. Well, there are two little books that I made, along with a couple of small pens, so I have a place handy to write quotes etc. As you can guess, it was being used this morning!
Then I have been finishing  off some pages. I don't know about you but when I journal I tend to create loads of background pages without actually finishing them. Now, I'm just kinda catching up and actually finishing some of them. This is one in my Dylusions Journal.
Then a couple of my smaller books are getting worked in too, like this one which was really just waiting for the right words.
Then there is the sample and trial pieces from Sunday's class which hasn't found a home yet.

Lastly, there is this page which I just love!, I'll go into a bit more detail about this, along with more close up pictures in a later post.
So there you have it, my current workplace, close to the kitchen so I'm going to pop the kettle on. See you later!

Hey Neil-
Great journal pages...I find it hard to create the background and then go back to it. I seem to lose the thread or something, so it's fun to see someone's process with that. Still in love with the pouch...the depth and colors just draw me in...and the flower is awesome too. Have a good week!

Wahoo, fabulous work there Neil - I adore the very last page you showed.

OK, so the Radley style buttons you spotted on my desk. I bought them in a haberdashery/knitting shop in Salisbury. But here are the little cuties online:

And I paid 55p each for mine :(

DH got a pen that you could hang on your keyring at some apple conference or another. I loved having it handy...but then it ran out of ink. Typical - it was actually useful! That and the little Java toothpaste tube squeezer were my fave conference goodies LOL! Your solution is altogether more arty and pretty.

Always lovely to see your work.

Happy WOYWW!

Love the colors and a Dyan journal and stencils are on my wish list. I like the idea of adding quotes and I may just add all those bits of songs and poetry from childhood! Currently trying to learn painting with paper.
