WOYWW 202

Good morning friends
I hope you are all well. I am surprised that it is Wednesday already though. So time to pop on over to Stamping Ground for the weekly gathering of workplaces. All the details are HERE

So here is my place today

Not a  huge amount going on at the moment. My holiday is over and it's back to juggling the different jobs. All my goodies from Ally Pally have been packed away, though I have to say I could not resist cutting some of my new leather pieces......
Pretty good, I think, and on the top right you can just see a leather ATC peeking. im going to have fun with these....
Then this book just fell into my hands the other day while wandering a charity shop...... Loads of illustrations  of Wonderland.

Lastly there's my little journal pouch, I use it to add quotes etc so I have notes of things that have struck a chord with me......
So there you have my little place today. Hope you all have a good time today too.

Fabulous find in the charity shop, I adore really old books. Love the journal pouch, and the leather flowers are a wonderful idea. I kept some bits of leather from old skirts & handbags somewhere, on the principle,' I may find a use for that one day'- now i just need to remember where I stored them. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #70 xx

What a great find that book was Neil, I’m never that lucky when I go into charity shops. I’m sure you’ll be doing some amazing things with those illustrations.
Those flowers are amazing too. I’m not surprised you couldn’t wait to ‘play’ with the leather pieces.
Thanks for stopping by this week.

Happy Crafting!

Hi Neil,

The leather flowers look great! Also, love the Wonderland book. I go to the thrift shops too and look for foreign language books - maybe I should start looking in the children's section also.

Hey There,
Thanks for visiting me this week. Love that pouch you keep you quotes in...very grungy! Leather flowers look good too. Was looking at your ally pally pics(sadly I'm a little short on crafting funds at the mo so did not go this year) They are Visible Image stamps as I am in their Design team...they do some great mens collages and background that would be just up your street...but I guess you saw them at the show. Hope to catch up next week.
Have a good week

Happy WOYWW, I am getting the hang of this, someone told me that most folk visit people who's number ends the same as theirs, then randomly after that as time permits, so I am still randomly visiting and haven't yet put that into practice, I pick a name and go for it!
Love your workspace and your projects and that book and the pouch, it is all reminiscent of Tim Holtz, I can imagine him there!

Fun post Neil, love your leather and the journal pouch is a great idea and so unique. Fun finds for inspiration too. Running late, but being gone the 2 days to Junk Bonanza wore me out! Drove home in a snow storm, still very cold, strong winds, and snow on the ground here. Unreal. have a great weekend
