Journal page finished....

Howdy folks
Finally managed to complete the first page in the Dylusions journal I got just before Christmas. I know you've seen it progressing but here is is finished.
I'm sure you can see the difference in colours from the left hand side and the right hand side. That is because the left is actually the inside of the cover which was more of an absorbent greyboard.I just did not want to leave it plain!

There are layers of inks, masking (The large masks are perfect for this journal) Some gesso paste for dimension and stamping too. All my favourite things.  I will say that it is taking a little while to get used to working in this size journal compared to my usual. Not in a bad way, it's just a case of getting used to all the space.....

One I'd finished and dated the page I moved on to making a start on the next page and I love it so much already! I think it may  just end up with something written on the tag as I really love the background (much better in real life than the picture!
I love the colours, the flowers have been created with friendly plastic, the stamps are Dyan Reavely as well as splitcoast stampers and katzelkraft among others

Well, that's my funtime stuff, now I need to tackle some looming deadlines..........

Absolutely fab. We just ordered Pomdering Petunia stamps with the last of our Christmas money and can't wait to play. Agreed about getting to used to bigger sized journals too. We've progressed to A4 for our journal every day project and the space seems immense at first.
