WOYWW #163

Morning folks and welcome to my world. This weekly desk hop is hosted as ever by Julia at
Stamping ground so pop on over for desks galore!
Mine has been semi neglected this week  as the first of my overseas visitors arrived, with two more lots arriving soon, it's going to be a busy summer. Still; you are here to see my desk not listen to my babbling so here it is. Firstly, the overview.
In the front is this book of fantasy artists. From a child I LOVED these images. The pen and ink work is exquisite. so finding the in a book was a real treat.
Behind that is this canvas gifted to me from Mark at Spesh ink. It's great isn't it.
I picked these fab buttons up at an antiques fair. They are super great!
Lastly in this corner, some stuff from my favourite shop; The Craft Barn! Paper Artsy's crunchy paper, Tando shapes and this fab new stamp. A card I'd made ages ago and the genesis of a project.
So, there's my world today. Hope you all have a blessed and creative day wherever you are.

Love those buttons. Great nab. Have you flipped thru any books or online images by HR Giger, who did the original drawing for the Alien movies? They are outstanding. Worth a look :)

Happy WOYWW

The desk is looking good as always. Your new book looks like something my hubby would enjoy. He likes fantasy art (in books not on the walls). The antique buttons are a great find. You'll do wonderful things with them!

What a marvellous collection of treasures on your desk this week, Neil! That book looks most interesting, and all the lovely finds and gifts. It's always lovely to find things like those buttons in antique shops or fairs - this year I practically emptied the basked of junk jewellery on the White Elephant stall at the village fete - loads of useful beads, bits of chain, findings, you name it!!

Enjoy your summer visitors. I'm sure you'll have fun, especially if you lay down the creating and don't spend your days hankering after it lol!! The time will come soon enough when you can get back to it, and it's always lovely to enjoy the company of friends and family.

Happy WOYWW,
