WOYWW #152

Good morning all. It's silly o clock in the morning and I'm wide awake! So I crept outside to take pictures of my desk.....'cause that's what we do on a Wednesday and it's all Julia's fault! Pop over to Stamping ground and you'll see, hundreds of desks waiting to be discovered!
Here's my place. My usual shot which I will remind you, no death defying stunts to achieve; at it's highest point my studio is only 2.4m high, I'm 1.8m so it's just a lift of the arms required, no chair! So, the desk, pretty tidy (as this time tomorrow I'll be at the airport winging my way to America, Ranger Uni here I come!)

In the front you can see this book cover I'm working on. It started out as a pretty tacky brown plastic file so slowly I'mm turning it into a decent cover for a loose leaf art journal.
At the back are some bits; old Victorian curtain hooks, a metal belt and then the blowtorch and stuff from the weekend.
Then there's this weird plastic holder with 4 glass jars which I'll be turning into a "Specimen" display fitting for a Victorian explorer's study!
So there's my place this week. Next week I'm be back and my desk will be all American, I'm sure!
Till then, I hope you all have a truly blessed and creative week!

You always have the most interesting things on your desk. I think you've channeled my maternal grandfather. Whenever I see the stuff on your desk (and your desk) I think of him. He was a junk dealer who later in life collected ephemera, tucking little bits of wonderfulness here and there amongst the junk so you just never knew what you would find where. Have tons of fun at Ranger University!!!!
