This weeks card theme is Minimal; so one for all you clean and simple fans out there.......
Here is my card
Simply using a black card blank, white card, a little distress ink colouring and a few gems. The image is from Sweet Pea, isn't it beautiful? I picked it up at Ally Pally from The Artful Splodger. I'd seen the stamps online before but I prefer to see things in the flesh so to speak if I haven't seen them before so was pleased to find them there!
I just cut some of the white card away freehand to create interest.
I kept the colouring simple too to keep within the minimal style, just using a thin wash of stormy sky, scattered straw and spun sugar distress stains and water. I added the little gems last minute for texture and sparkle.
