Flower power

Good morning all
Hope you are all well; over at Try it on Tuesday in the spirit of summer we are looking for cards with flowers on them for this weeks challenge. There are some great samples on the blog from my team mates so do pop on over HERE to join in the fun.
I thought I'd try something a bit different and made my flower from...........

Yep; Tim Holtz's alterations gears die! Each gear was inked with distress stain in Vintage photo, Forest moss and Fired brick before cutting and folding and a large brad in the centre to finish. I used glue dots to attach to the tag which had been inked and then stamped with Katzelkraft cog stamp in brown stazon.
I added a piece of vintage measure to the top along with a muse token.
I attached the tag to an embossed card over which I had swiped distress ink pads in Fired brick and Forest moss to highlight the embossing. Some leaves were added to finish.
So there you have it; a different sort of flower.
Hope you all have a brilliant day and are blessed in your creative journey.....
