Charms away!

Last week I showed you the charms I was busy with for Roni's charm swap..... well they are finished now and are winging their way to America as we speak! This was the first time I had made charms and was not too sure what I was doing but I enjoyed them.
I used a bottle cap, stamped a small image and coloured with copics and attached inside and covered with glossy accents. The pixie was stamped onto shrink plastic, coloured with pencil  before shrinking and coating with glossy accents and attached with 3d foam to the inside. This was attached to a metal leaf that had been distressed with paint. I stamped some green card in black, rounded the edges and attached the metal "Dreams" with a layer of glossy accents over the whole thing to protect it too. (Yes, I do love glossy accents!) A strip of old tape measure to finish and everything then attached to a Tim Holtz swivel clasp.

What do you think?  To send them I made a quick little tag, just masked and inked with my details on the back. I hope the people who get these are not disappointed and I am looking forward to receiving 4 charms and a pin to display them when the swap is finished.
Be blessed in your art today!

WOW!! That's what I say. You did a great job. Maybe after the swap is complete, you could share the details of how you colored the base of your piece, and also how you did the word 'dreams'. Looks like a little AI, but I'm not sure. Wish one of these was winging it way to my house.
