Encouragement Emporium

Hi there, It is 7 am in this part of the world and Tim's tag number 5 has not been posted yet, I only finished day fours tag last night so it is still too dark to photograph. So I thought I would share this project of mine. (I put photos on FB but not here.
I started altering it back in April and now it is "finished" enough to post.

I call this my encouragement emporium because I am slowly filling it with my favourite quotations and scriptures, photo's etc. There is a lot of Tim Holtz products used  and various techniques too. I won't post photos of all the compartments but here are some of them.
Shrink plastic butterflies; I folded the wings before they set to give the dimension

These mini dominoes are accordian books

I used Grungboard letters to create the Love album, The Bird cage die was cut in shrink plastic; it's SOOOO dinky! Filmstrip ribbon with photos at the back. Oh and the tiny roses were a nightmare to make so won't do that in a hurry again!

I also made all the mini books; they are about 5 x 6 cm. They were pretty fun to make. I ended up with about 20!

Inside all the pages are inked and stamped and I am filling them with favourite things...

I even made a book using Tims journaling tags, inked and stamped the backs; this turned out really well.
I hope you enjoy this and that you have fun and are blessed in your art today. I'll post my tags later too.

Neil, THIS is an absolute work of ART. I love it, the detail is so amazing, from your comments I can see that this is a living project and it has been a labour or love for you to create this and it must give you so much pleasure to add little touches as you think of them so that it grows with you. I'm in awe!

Your wee mini books are fantastic too. I taught myself to bookbind and just love making books, so any time I see one made by someone else I can appreciate the hard work thats gone into making it.
