Firstly I ran a card blank through the cuttlebug with the cogs and wheels folder and toned down with distress ink.
The tag is my favourite element, I made it using the rusty enamel technique fron Tim Holtz's book. You swipe the tag with weathered wood distress ink; Then pour clear embossing powder over it (I actually used UTEE as I had no other clear and it still worked) Tap some of it off so you achieve a mottled look then heat. When cooled then use the blending tool and a brown distress to go over everything. (I used vintage photo I think)
Wipe excess off then there you have it. I then lightly stamped a script over it in black stazon using a Crafty Individuals stamp.
The butterfly is Tim's Fanciful flight; another favourite. Cut, stamped at the back and distressed. Glittered body and then I used raffia for the feelers to match in with the tag.
Scrabble style letters to finish.

Hi Neil, thanks for becoming a follower of my blog - I have looked at yours and now I'm a follower of yours! Your card is really good - I love the rusted enamel effect; it's worked really well. I have used this technique quite alot using different colours - I think its one of my favourites. :)
Great card Neil, I love everything about it. The colours, composition and the attention to detail with the antennae! I've got this die myself and haven't ever added antennae but they really complete the butterfly.
