Itty bitty boxes

Morning everyone. As I said yesterday; here are the other trinket boxes I made yesterday. It was the first time I had actually used UTEE to try to create the enamelled tops so though there is room for improvement I like the way they came out.

To start with I painted the wooden boxes with Gesso

Then I stamped my images onto white tissue paper; I covered the boxes with PVA glue and then covered the sides with the tissue.

This is what you then end up with; once they were dry I used various distress inks with the blending tool to add the colour. I cut the tops out of white card and stamped my images; coloured them and then added clear UTEE. I used 3 layers and on the last layer I stamped into it with a stamp to create an impression .

I used Crafty Individuals stamps for all these boxes. They do really lovely images.
