Altered drawers

Good morning folks. I hope you are well.
This morning I have a small set of drawers that I've managed to finish. My wife picked them up at a bootfair for me. I forgot to take a before picture but they were white to start off with with the metal heart decoration and handle. As you can see, they did not stay white for long!
I just began to play around and scrub a selection of DecoArt Fluid Acrylics over the unit, including the metal.

Once that had dried I took out some Artistic Stamper stamps. I loved these when I saw them and just had to have them! I stamped with Jet Black Archival ink.

Wrapping the stamping around corners etc for continuity.

I worked over this with more stamps in Orange Blossom and Fern Green Archival ink.

The whole unit was covered with a layer of DecoArt Crackle Glaze to finish. I am pleased with the finished piece. It is no longer a tired and grubby looking unit but a fun arty piece.....

The Stamps I used are Decay Swirl Background and Decay Journaling from The Artistic Stamper
