More Gelli

Good morning peeps
Well, after showing you my Gelli Journal yesterday, thought I'd share some of the pages inside. Now compared to some of the gelli prints around I'm sure mine are pretty basic but I am happy with them and as I will be developing them over time by adding other techniques and mediums I did not want them to be so "finished" that I would hesitate to cover them......
With that in mind here we go.

Most of these prints are only 2 layers and sometimes 3.
I've also used card that has just got scraps of colour from other bits on, so it does't have to always be pristine white card to start with.
Some pieces have quite a lot of "white space" which is cool. You can use other things to fill in these places and add another layer of detail.
I just love this colour combo, PaperArtsy South Pacific and Toffee.
But look, I can do soft and pretty too LOL
Back cover has the other half of the print you saw on yesterday's post so it is coordinated nicely.

I will be demonstrating all my techniques and ideas at The Craft Barn Extravaganza this year along with The Fabulous Distress Marker Spritzer so if you are coming do pop on over to say hello. And if you are not, then why not? A weekend of FREE demonstrations from industry favourites like PaperArtsy, Tando, Andy Skinner and many more it is an event like no other!
All the info can be found HERE and the date for your diary is June 7 and 8

Right, the sun is shining and the studio is calling so I'll catch you all later, be blessed and creative folks.

What a wonderful blog! I have popped over to check you out on the recommendation of Erin Stewart (erinstewart.wordpress.com) as whilst I am an experienced crafter, I am interested in diversifying into mixed media a lot more. And wow! You sure have given me a lot of inspiration! Sam x x
