WOYWW 206

Good morning folks
My name is Neil and i'm a What's on your Workdesk addict...... Hi Neil, we are too so welcome, You are among friends here. (Click Here to get the full picture, if you still haven't a clue what I'm talking about!)

The wind is howling around the shed, it's been raining and I'm cold; yet here I am at 4:30am. Awake and thinking I need to go and take photos of my desk; I forgot to last night!
So here we are. First the big picture....
There's a theme there folks if you look closely enough...... Journals!
These ones are for classes, the first of which is at The Craft Barn this Friday.
I just love this page, that's why it is open, so I can stare at it lovingly. Of course those stamps are awesome and I know that they will be used often and loved well. Underneath is another couple of journals too. Peeking out bottom left of the picture is another bird design I'm working on too (that is a sneaky peek, didn't think it was there!)
The germination of an idea means Mr skull has undergone a bit of surgery and the image is just waiting for  dash of colour before going into one of the books. So there you have it, my little creative haven in the storm! Hope you have a great day too.

Nice to see you at no 1. I think you used the wrong link, though. I got 205 when I clicked the link.

Regardless, I love that skeleton, and that journal page is to die for.

Happy WOYWW from # 7.

G'day Neil
OMG again I love your desk and your art...those skulls intrigue me...I'd like to make a mould of them for use with resin for my steam punk jewellery. Love the journals and that quote is so funny.

Happy WOYWW and congrats on the No.1 spot if you keep it!! I was awake at 4 am, so if I had dragged myself out of bed, then I could have beaten you. As usual, such a busy, colourful and creative desk. Ali x #28

Morning Neil, I don't journal but if I did I think I would have to have them open at pages I particularly liked too - it would be rude not to! I actually felt sorry for your skull when I saw it split open ... note to self: get over it, it's only a skull :) It's just after 7am here and the weather's looking quite promising - hope the day brightens up for you too. Whatever, have a good one. Elizabeth x #37

PS: turning up at 4.30am is going well beyond the call of duty :))

Top of the AM to you Neel. Your journals look amazing...the depth of color you've reached is so rich looking. I love it! The Queen Victoria comment certainly exemplifies why we think the Victorian Age was a tad on the stand-offish side! The dude peaking around the page opposite looks kind of nefarious. Wish I could take the class.....i'm so admiring your backgrounds and use of color.
Have a great week.

4.30am - too cold for me, I'd have stayed in bed and thought about it for a lot longer! Love the journals and your current fave page - the page colour/background looks like polished marble from here. I think you under rate the extent of the surgery...

Morning, Neil - for once I was lazing in bed when the link went up! Love all your journals, and that is quite some drastic surgery...lol! Thanks for visiting already. helen, 17
