Good morning friends
Don't know about you but here in my corner it was a lovely sunshiny day yesterday; so we had to get out and enjoy our first picnic! Ergo, no crafting done. I do however have a few things to share. Like these,
This pile of goodness is from Saturday's demo day at The Craft Barn. Distress paints and my masks. I love how the paints keep their vivid colours even after wetting. I like these more and more so can see them becoming a staple in my kit!
This middle one has been done with Distress ink and foam. We were discussing the inks and I was showing how by using the bright colours as a base, it gives a lovely depth and richness. So you can see, the bottom half has Mustard Seed as a base, and the top half doesn't. Isn't the colour tone so different. We need to experiment more with the colours I think.
Then, you can see, here I began work on one of my new book covers, didn't get very far but I do love the vivid colours!
This tag, has Dylusions, Distress Paint and inks, all layered up. I love it.
More experiments, pastes, inks and paints galore.
Then this A4 sheet makes a great background, either as it is or cut up.

I've also got some more samples of my book cover kits. They were done for the Demo, and I thought I'd share a photo of them all with you today but I'll share in a lot more detail over the next few days so that I don't drown you in photos!
Aren't they great? Made by Susan and designed as loose leaf albums so pages can be added easily too. This makes them great for Wedding guest books, Hen and Stork gatherings, special anniversaries and occasions like Christenings Etc. (So I'll give you a closer look at each over the next few days)
Lastly, over at The Craft Barn Blog today, this week the theme is circles. I'm sharing a cool Circle tin, project. The details are HERE and here's a pic to whet your appetite. I'd love it if you popped on over for a closer look!

Hope you all have a great and creative day, I'm off to the shed to get mucky with inks and paints......

Materials list for my Craft Barn Project.

Dylusions inks - London Blue and Postbox Red

Brilliant projects Neil, you have clearly been busy!!! You've gone wild for colour, your creations are a rainbow of inky, painty fun. They look smashing when photographed together. Glad it was warm enough for a picnic, we've not had such luck oop north yet. Pxx
