Good morning friends
Just thought I'd pop on over to share the tag I've finished that was on my desk Wednesday. It ended up in my journal. The page has been inked with Dylusions inks and a combination of both Dyan's and my own masks. The tag has been made using my stamps and masks. I coloured the main stamp used (Fantasy Background) with Distress Markers and stamped it to give a lovely detailed background. I used my hatched background stamp and winged design mask to add more detail and layers. A little Dreamweaver crackle paste adds some nice textured circles too.
I used Tim Holtz Tattered floral die to make a couple of flowers, these I stamped with my background stamps, layered up and used decorative fasteners to join together.
The sentiment is from Dyan Reavely's stamps. I used Kiki stamped onto a dress form with some Idea-ology bits on a chain just for fun.
I also received some happy mail yesterday from Jo of Jozart - a lovely large and small roll of moustaches tape. I'll definitely have fun with them. She also sent this lovely tag and some amazing vintage brush heads!
I love them, all beautifully bound. I'm going to treasure them, though I will use at least one of them, the brush feels so soft I think it will work beautifully with ink. Don't you just love the pen nib on the tag too, beautifully crafted in the shape of a hand. Thanks Jo.
Speaking of hands, mine appears to be slowly on the mend though I'm still not allowed to use it. Had X rays yesterday and the bone they thought I may have broken seems to be intact which is good news. Not as swollen today so hopefully by the end of the week I should be able to use it properly!
I've so much I want to do but can't yet so I have to exercise patience!
Still, it'll get sorted soon, in the meantime, hope you have a good and creative weekend.
