Finished Printers Tray - part one.

Good morning everyone
Well, I've been sharing a few sneak peeks of my configurations printers tray to tease you. Well it's finally finished!
There's lots of pictures so I thought I'd start today and finish tomorrow.
Earlier this year I was privileged to be invited to attend Ranger Uni at Ranger Industries in New Jersey. This Configurations tray is my homage to my time there; as it was so special I wanted to create something special too! This tray is packed with techniques covered while there. (not all as I ran out of space, but there's a good selection!) So join me as I go through each section over the next couple of days (Or if you get bored, I hope you have a nice day!)
Ranger Uni - class of May 2012, keeping this nice and simple, love the mini letter tiles, and the crown.
This section, the background is "painting" with embossing powder, rusty enamel on the grunge tag.
I love this background, the aged and rivetted metal. The cogs are aged and distressed with paint dabbers, distress powders and inks. The Idea-ology token has been sanded to highlight the brass.
One of my favourite sections - Grunge hearts done in the shattered stains technique and the background is a faux suede done with perfect pearls and ink refresher on Kraft paper. (Tutorial can be found HERE for the suede)
Then, there's an amazing agates alcohol ink background here. with an aged copper patina on the fractured doll metal wings - all done with alcohol inks.
Nice and simple inked and blended background. Though the light is not a Tim or Ranger product, it found it's way in here as it said what I wanted to say!
Then, here is a Distress Marker stamped background, with a bit of a crackle, then a lovely Vintaj bird tile.
This is the fun bit. A distress ink background, an embellishment created from Mould and pour and UTEE, A suspended token hold it in place as it
opens out to reveal some photos of the weekend!
Of course, the wonderful Dyan was there too, with her colourful inks and more. The butterfly has been highlighted and coloured with Vintaj.
Some of the masking and highlighting, bleaching techniques make an appearance here. Liquid pearls add a splash of shine too.
Lastly for today, this grunge heart gets the distress stickles treatment; the snowflake with it's brown and red colouring along with a bit of gold gilding just kinda leapt onto it too! So I think I'll leave the rest til tomorrow so I hope you all enjoy the day!

Your tray looks fabulous! I have had one of them sitting here (unstarted) for ages. Maybe I can be inspired by yours?
