A little while ago someone told me about a Christmas card competition at Money Supermarket; so after checking it out and seeing the prizes I decided to enter. (And I needed to make another card too!) So here is my entry. (And HERE is the link for you if you want to go take a look.)
To make the background I used a Tando snowflake mask with Dylusions spray inks. I also used Ferro translucent glitter paste to create a lovely glittery background. I matted this his onto another card that I had edged with Evergreen Bough distress stain, glossy accents and Distress dry stickles, boy is that stuff messy! Fun though. When it was all dry I used Brushed Corduroy Distress ink to blend over everything before attaching it to a card blank.
The snowman is cut from a Tim Holtz die. The nose, hat, twigs and eye are coloured with Distress markers. The body was covered with glitter and rock candy stickles. I added Glossy accents to the hat too and made a scarf out of Distress ink dyed cord. The ground is made with a piece of card stamped and torn and coloured with Distress ink before attaching. The snowman is mounted onto this and another piece was curled and attached over this. I added two baubles to a piece of the cord and added the sentiment over that to finish.
Merry Christmas everyone.

Great snowman! I can feel the wind blow from the sense of motion you've created. Fab!
