Configurations - finally finished!

Hi there
Hope you are all well. Tis a glorious sunny day here in Kent which  cheers the spirits up no end ! While I have been pottering around this morning I FINALLY managed to get my configurations tray finished inbetween waiting for paints to dry on another project I've started. I won't admit to exactly how long I've had this going but now it is done I thought I'd share it with you properly so here we go.... (LOTS of pics warning!)

So; this is the overview.  Everything has been coloured with Distress Stains and covered in tissue tape to start with the addition of some random stamping too. Shall we go bit by bit through the rest?

The top has a piece of moulded and Perfect Pearl UTEE at the back and this vintage car I picked up at a bootfair. I'm sure the person thought I was mad choosing this one that had obviously spent some time in the dirt rather than all the later and newer looking ones but isn't it brilliant?
My little slice of Africa here. The small Tim Holtz elephant at the back. Sand and feathers in the jar with small porcupine quills and raffia around the neck of the jar. The small elephant is carved from Tiger's Eye.
This has some embossed ledger stamping at the back, The Roman coin is actually a button. Then there's my first attempt at a Tim Holtz pine cone along with a tiny vial of sand (Which comes from Southbank in London during the Olympics they'd coloured a sandpit in all rainbow colours......
Love this ship which is a magnet, I just added some gold paint to the base and touches to the sails before gluing in place. In the left side compartment is another ship stamped and embossed.
I love vintage watch faces so added these and the small doll has been coloured with alcohol ink to age before adding her. (Thanks Mark for gifting the dolls, I love them)
Another embossed label at the back. The suspended cross is special to me and the metal flower is one of the first ones I altered with Distress embossing powder.
Peeking in at the back is another Perfect Pearlised UTEE embellishment I did while at Ranger Uni.The butterflies have been triple embossed and stamped into to give texture.
And just for fun is my "pet Coral". Isn't she rather funky?
And, of course, mustn't forget the lantern to light the way through the seas of life!
So there you have it. My first configurations box. Now to start on the tray.......

Now it's done it's moved into the house and is sitting on the mantelpiece.
Hope you all have a great afternoon. I hear an angel crying out to be finished in my studio so I'd better be away.
