WOYWW #177

Morning all.
Just a nice quick share of my workplace this morning before I trot off to take the missus to work. As always, if you are from another planet and confused then pop over HERE to get to the portal to trawl more universal workplaces.

So, looking from my chair it is nice and clear in front of me and you can see the push out of the way method in full flow everywhere else....
Even the visitors chair is occupied by a pile. This is my art journal. I'm busy painting a page at a time just to get everything I don't want to see covered up. When that is finished I'll get working on i properly I guess!
Then there's this lovely photo of my daughter and her boyfriend all "steampunked" up for a party. I love the photo and have printed it out on canvas ready to use.
Lastly, my new favourite stamps and peeking out is a hint of Christmas.........
So there you have my world today. Hope you have a good and blessed day today.

Looks like a wonderful hive of creativity going on in your room this week. If I lived nearer I'd be over in a shot to ask for a dash of inspiration. Looking forward to seeing your finished projects :) Pxx

Thanks for stopping by and I wish your hint of Christmas was more than just a hint as I need some inspiration for original cards. Just made up some from old ones so far. Keeping them flat for postage reasons too. BJ#8

Just how I like a desk, lots going on. Brill idea of printing the picture onto canvas, you must have a good printer. Xmas has actually started in my room too, finally. Have a good day. Love Francesca #94

I employ the "push out of the way" method, too, Neil! You should see the floor of my ARTHaven at the moment... well, perhaps you shouldn't... Love all the busyness in your creative space this week and your usual lovely grungey colours. The photo of your daughter is great - not hard to guess where she gets her inspiration lol!!

Thanks for your visit. Not sure why I was linked to the wrong WOYWW, but Julia says she's fixed it, if you want to pop back and have a snoop at what I did this week, and also the subsequent post with the finished page.

Happy WOYWW,

Hi Neil thanks so much for popping over and yes was so not with it forgot it was Wednesday here as well till read your comment so amended it on my post by an edit in parentheses did wonder how come was not so far behind on Julia's blog..
But still did not twig, the two lots of drops cause insomnia (taken four times a day five mins apart) and struggling with a regular routine hence the loss of a day.. or not!!!
I do love the way you have put the photo on the canvas, it will look great once you get it all altered or mounted..
...and the Anne of Ink a Doodle Do I mentioned on my post is a great friend of mine from France because of you, you know?? one day in February or Jan you posted something for the Craft Barn and I popped over and said sometime on your post and then Anne came along ..
then she popped over to my blog.. the LORD had His hand it in it we know, as she is a Christian too.. :D she just made another card for your oriental craft barn challenge.. a great one.
Also many, many thanks for your prayer and thoughts too on my post, appreciated too. God bless,

Like to see the push out of the way method of clearing a desk. Always employ that and the pile it high one here. Great idea to print on canvas, must try that one. Realise looking around the WOYWWers I must get started on the Christmas marathon!

You sound like my husband Neil, he sends me out to work too, or jollies off to England for a month!! Love the photo on canvas and the couple look like they're having fun. Love all the business and "on the go-ness" of it all. I've got one piece of cake left if you'd like it!

great looking creative desk again this week! I love the picture of your daughter in the steampunk garb! I am painting/spraying/texturing several pages of my journal and gluing them together when dry so I can embellish etc when I am away without having to take all the base junk with me. I am loving the journal but haven't shown much on here...kind of personal I guess! Hope you have a great week. Vickie #91

Hi Neil

Thanks for popping over to my blog already...

I'm loving your push back method - it sure works for me, although I do adopt a good pile it up method, but that can be risky - depends how high it gets!

Everything on your desk looks like it could lead to a great day of getting all inky and grunged up. The photo of your daughter and her boyfriend is so great that I thought it actually was a vintage image - it looks really authentic on the canvas. I have some printable canvas so maybe I should print out something from the Graphics Fairy... never thought of that before. See, I come here and you've inspired me already.

Happy WOYWW

I love looking at your desk, it is just like mine, push out of the way to work :) The idea of printing a photo on canvas looks really interesting and I like the way the edges look. You have a very beautiful daughter.

That picture looks really cool printed on canvas -- I'll have to make sure to visit again to see what you do with it. I like the peek of the Christmas card. I'm still in the "will I or won't I" card planning stage, but it looks like the WOYWW crowd is beginning their Christmas "work." Happy WOYWW (on Friday!) from Laura #155
