Here is my desk
So, on the right, some new birthday goodies, New Idea-ology tags and cards, embossing folders and the new bag die. Jelly beans- hiding here so I get to eat them rather than my daughter..... one of those kind of gifts! Next to them, some experiments with papers and embossing and in the background there's a card.
More birthday treats; shimmer sprays and a file which is all the embossing folder samples from the class I did at The Craft Barn on Friday. Great fun experiments with what you can do with your embossing folders!
Then; aren't these gorgeous; from my wife. She said she knows I could make them myself but thought I'd like them anyway as she did. I'm going to use them for storage but not sure exactly what yet.
Then lastly these wings, and a feather. Got plans for the wings but I'll show you later!
So there's my place this week. In other news, Mom in Law is here from South Africa; been running back and forth to the tip; trying to catch up with deadlines, painting the daughter's bedroom and went to see Grease on Saturday evening which was fab. Now I need to catch up with more deadlines so I'll see you all later!

Sorry missed last wednesday seemed to just jump to sunday..lol Loads going on Happy Belated Birthday .I too have had spending spree no excuse really well girl has to keep upto date with mr Holtz now those metal sentiment labels are lush i have them also.Need time to play with the new flower die but the sun keeps pushing me to garden..lol
At lkeast the weather is beautiful for your visitor which makes a change in the uk!those stroage boxes look gorgeous your wife has good taste!why not keep ideology bits in them?

Oooh nice birthday haul there!! Happy belated birthday, and I'm sure you will come up something fantastic as usually regarding those boxes! LOVE the way you use a lot of texture in your work as well. I so wish I had more money to try and get a few basics to give me a bit of a start in having a try. I have a few ideas but need to try them out to see if they will work first.

...your desk reminds me of aladins cave, full of treasures!...loVe the boxes your wife bought great for trinkets?...the vibrant shimmer mists are a must as are the jelly beans and any good parent would confiscate these from their child...I look forward to your coming posts Neil they're always a delight to the eye...Mel :) p.s. hope your being the dutiful son-in-law :)

What a great birthday haul! I love it when people feed my craftiness. It is much more exciting than shirts or cookware! Lots of fun new things to try out. Love the storage boxes that your wife found for you. You'll have fun making them more special and finding just the right stash to keep in them.

ohooo this is just toooo much now, so many inks and sprays...I have ONE spray! It's all fabulous! I can see I'm going to have to order it on line as no one near me does this... Can you believe, I went into a (fairly) large craft shop last week and asked if they did TH things and the girl said...'Who?' Thank you for my snoop! HaPpY late WoYwW! Have a great crafty week
