WOYWW #142

Hi peeps,
Time to share your desks with the world again courtesy of Julia at Stamping ground. I took my photo's yesterday because I was feeling lousy and ended up in a dark room all afternoon. Hence the daylight sneaking in! Hopefully I'll cope with today better. I hate feeling under the weather. But you're not here to hear me whitter away so here's my place...
 Slightly different angle this week.
I got fed up with having to open the cupboard everytime I wanted to get something out so I took it away and now its much easier to access, once I sort it out properly, that is.
Aren't those union jack buttons lovely? All different sizes. The tag (for Try it on Tuesday) is waiting to be put into my tag album.
Isn't this oversized spool of string brilliant? Susan got it for me over the weekend; next to that there's a little accordion book with an Egyptian theme. I love the face, from a polymer clay mould.
Then there are my goodies from the weekend. I have some stuff I want to try with those markers but not got round to it yet. I'm enjoying the masks and have had a bit more of a play with them.
Of course, having actually met Tim and Mario now; they are going into my journal, here you can see the beginning stages; again, I have an idea but not had time to do much.
And just a slightly different overall view! So there you have it; my place this week; now I think I'm back off to bed!

Also just LoVe, LoVe, LoVe your "Song Bird" tag ... you have inspired me to have a go at embossing acetate and squishing something over it ... have never really been into paint but just have got to give it a go as I LoVe that effect. As ever, your work has kick-started me to get going ... so off I must pop and do just that! Happy WOYWW'ing to a true inspiration!!! Debbie xXx #89

Gosh Neil, hope you're feeling better..a dark place suggests a bad head to me..ugh. Understand about the cupboard..what have you done with all the art on the doors? And, almost...almost could be jealous of those glass front drawers at the end of your desk. Funny how you don't notice stuff till a new angle is presented!

So sorry to hear you've been under the weather, Neil, and hope you are feeling better now.

Love to see your creative room! It looks so full, and so organised and busy! Nice to see one of the little faces there, too - even if you do only make them gold, I'd love to see some of the projects where you've used them, though - it's what goes on around them that makes them so interesting!!

Glad you like my butterflies. I gave it to my sister today and she loved it, and she was really interested to find out how I made it all, which was nice.

Happy WOYWW, and I do hope you feel well again soon! Shoshi #19

Just having a last minute surf of the blogs before week 143 hits us square in the chops!

I hadn't realised how small your space actually was, so thanks for the tour of different angles. Go you for making amazing stuff in there - I guess the size must concentrate the talent!
