Just another snowy day.......

Hi folks,
well, as predicted there was a good layer of snow around this morning. this is the view from the house to my studio. Fairly early so still pretty blue tint to the pictures.
Far too cold to go out so instead; because I still had all my stuff in the house from Saturday's demo day at The Craft Barn I stayed inside and worked on my journals. I'm pretty pleased with the way this one turned out.

This page has one of my demo backgrounds added onto the page along with a mica embellishment and some painted and splatted details!
This page uses one of the new Paperartsy stamp plates from Thursday. I think this figure is just fab and the right size for these pages.
It was lovely to see everyone at yesterday's demo and thank you for all your lovely comments and all your questions too! I'll try to get some of the step by steps posted here this week so keep an eye open for them!
See you all later.

Brilliant journal pages and such a pretty photo too. For once Northern Ireland hasnt been hit with bad weather. It was 8 degrees today!! Practically summer in Northern Ireland! lol. Lee :)

love the journal !

No snow in Shetland either, just rain by the bucketful.

What a pretty view, life without tree's (or anything over 2ft high for that matter) really strips the beauty out of snow.

I love your snowy view, we just got freezing fog! I am a great fan of embossed acetate and I especially like the idea of using it with metal, but I also like your embossed journal page. So much going on at your place.

I have never, EVER been in snow, so I find it hard to relate to this photo, especially as it was 33 in the shade today at 10am! The world has gone mad I tell you! MAD! Somewhere half way between what you have and us would be good! I am keen to drive around in my car all day today to keep cool in the aircon, and I am not someone who likes driving...

Not tried art journalling yet but love these pages. I like the fact that the more you look, the more you see.
