Try it on Tuesday with peeloffs

Good morning everybody
It's a new week and challenge over at Try it on Tuesday where it is tag week. Peel off, I think we all have some in our craft stash and often they get ignored. (Well, I know mine do!) So this week, bring them out and lets get creative with them on our tags.
This is what I did
And here's the step by step pictures
I added my peel offs to the tag
Covered it all with gesso
Added a base colour of acrylic (Americana Jack 'o Lantern orange)
Added some areas of Napa Red
Added browns all over
Finally I rubbed some inka gold to highlight the textures and bring out the leaf design before attaching the small pine cones with wire and the button on top. I then stamped "Fall Colours" and added the ribbon.

Hope to see you over at Try it on Tuesday and to see your creative ways with your peel offs!

Wow that looks fantastic! and what a great way to use up those peel offs we have stuck in the bottom of our stash. Thanks for sharing such another great technique Neil.

Wonderful tag Neil! I gave away most of my peel offs recently (for a good cause mind) as I bought gazillions (like you do when you're starting out) and never used them... but I love how you've done this, and the colours are gorgeous!!
