With a flourish........

Over at Simon Says Stamp and Show we are asked to show a flourish; so I have done; just for them......

I die cut two Tim Holtz Movers and shapers flourishes out of black card. Using the waste as a stencil and worn lipstick Distress ink I added the flourishes to the tag  and blended some of the same colour around the edges. I then went over everything with chipped sapphire distress ink, splashed with water and dried.
The die cut flourishes were given two coats of clear UTEE.

The stamps are all Andy Skinner, I stamped the small script in worn lipstick and the main sentiment in black archival and then attached the flourishes.
To finish I added the bright red ribbon (which I stamped with a barbed wire stamp) along with a silver heart to the top and a strip of matching ribbon along the bottom.
I guess I was trying to achieve a tag that, at first glance, seems rather sweet but as you look closer begins to give a little undercurrent that disturbs....... a bit like a Gothic novel
