Studio L3 and Simon says Stamp Challenges

Before I head off to work thought I'd get this finished and uploaded. Over at Studio L3 the Compendium of Curiosities challenge is Altered Metal with Paint (as seen on page 48 of the compendium) so this is for that and over at Simon says Stamp challenge blog and Simon says Stamp and show the theme is love (no real suprise there as it is february!)
So this tag fits the bill
I cut out the tag from a vintage style damask card with the Alterations tag die into which I placed a movers and shapers heart. I stamped the tag with a script in Fired brick Distress ink and then the flourish in black.
The heart was embossed  and inked with fired brick ink and covered in glossy accents before replacing into the tag. I really like the way this turned out.

So here's a close up.
The key and flower was done using the altered metal with paint technique (you'll have to read the book to find out more!) and the True is a Making memories  rub on.
So all the usual sentiments are there for Valentine, "Key to my Heart", "True Love" Now I hope my wife does not sneak a peek on the blog!
Be blessed in your art today!

Yes, I hope not too Neil thanks for popping over and your encouraging words. I do love the way you did the various elements especially the heart, I am a little out of my league when it comes to the metal effects but may plunge in one day..
God bless,
Shaz in Oz.
