Stamperama trip

Morning everyone. Well it's been a busy and unplanned weekend but it was fun. On saturday my wife and I took a day out and drove down to Canterbury and Whitstable, just to have some time out. It was great to just spend some time together wandering around.
Then we were going to just relax on sunday so I just popped onto the blog to post my tag challenge..... then just a quick little look at the posts and Hels post about demoing at the Stamperama show.... Well I had not heard of Stamperama so idle curiosity made me look it up before just mentioning it casually to my wife; to cut a long story short; we decided to make the 3 hour round trip just to see what it was like!
It was great! When we got there I popped over to see Hels and Jenny to say hi. (Lovely to meet you!) and wandered around the rest of the hall, had great fun looking at all the demoes, learn't some tricks and then did some shopping (Well, it would have been rude not too!) So, some Tim Holtz embossing folders (Only £4.99 a pack, that's a saving of almost £3.00!) some inks, gilding glues(Thanks for the tips on how to do it!) Tattered leaves die and then some rubber stamps from "The Artistic Stamper"
We'll definately be back next time; it's a great show. So thank you to Hels for posting about it!
And here's a quick tag I made with my new stamps!
I masked and stamped the watch and bottles, coloured with inks, then flooded the watch with glossy accents.

Pretty pleased with the results and I'll be playing with the embossing folders later today for Simon says where the theme is embossing; now that's good timing!
See you later......
