Over at Simon Says Stamp and Show this week is Embossing . I did this 8 x 8 layout for my album using embossing
I started by embossing two of my Alterations folders and inking them up. The one behind the photo was distressed using the tool. The circles were cut out, mounted with 3d pads and some old watch parts added to the centres. I matted the photo (of Ullswater in the Lake District) and ran half through the cuttlebug and sanded away to highlight. Don't do this with irreplacable photo's though in case you regret it later!
I die cut two tattered leaves and embossed with word folder (Cuttlebug) The top leaf says exciting memories and the bottom says unforgettable, and coupled with the dymo label beauty says what I wanted to say about the picture (Unforgettable beauty)
Some old watch parts to finish off.
Some of the details.
Have a great day and create some art......

This is wonderful. Love all the different kinds of embossing, especially on photo. I would never thought to do that but it works great.
Definitely a beauty! I was thinking how wonderful that would be framed! Another favorite for sure--what I find incredibly ingenious is the script sanded embossing on the photo. That totally drew me in. Well done...I hope you don't mind if I give that a try--I'm thinking this would make a great gift!
