A flitter of flutterbys and Simon say Stamp and Show - anything but a card

Goodly morning all; welcome to the first of two posts today, and no this is not The ANNOUNCEMENT! That will be later today..... Ooooh, the suspense is killing me!
Anyway, yesterday I was playing with my embossing powders and did these, my "flitter of flutterbys"
Aren't they brilliant!, I used moonglow two tone embossing powders in Red, Teal, Bronze and Sapphire which give a lovely shimmer. To get the embossing texture I stamped into them with either a Nautical stamp or one of Tim Holtz ATC stamps

These next ones were also done the same way but then Rub n Buff was added in silver and autumn gold
(See Michelle, did not take Susan long to find her own!)

So, onto this week at Simon say Stamp and Show - anything but a card. Obviously enough I used a couple of butterflies and made a tag!

I used glossy card, a Tim Holtz sentiment, Lawrence Llewellon Bowen stampand distress ink in aged mahogony and brushed corduroy. If you have not tried distress inks on glossy, do give it a go. You get a lovely polished stone look very different to alcohol ink.
Some of the details.
So, have a lovely morning, be blessed in your art ....
