Good morning peeps
Wednesday desk reveal time again; can you believe it!? Well, I was searching for something and made such a mess I ended up having a bit of a tidy just so I could think straight. I had to shove all my "secret" projects out of the way so as I was staring at the bare desk and had just a few moments spare I whipped out this journal and had a VERY quick little play.
Otherwise a very boring desk for this week.
My wife was going to dispose of this cd stand so I removed it and it now houses my dies....
This a detail from the page, Dreamweaver stencil, crackle paste and red acrylic paint, not sure whether I'll use it on this page in the end though.
Then I decided to start using these jars I did ages ago so decanted my Stampendous Frantage mica fragments into 4 of them, gluing samples onto the label for reference and writing the details on the back., two more house little bulldog clips and there's two left to fill which I'm sure will not take long! They look pretty cool there I think, much nicer than the original plastic pots.
Then, because I've moved my dies over I had space on this shelf so moved my books of Tim Holtz stamps over as well as the books that I made to house my embossing folders. They now fill the shelf below my A4 box files that house my other stamps so now all my stamps are together. Just need to finish labelling those new files now.
So there you have my space this week, looking a bit organised and neat though I can assure you it never lasts!
Have a fun day and I'll see you over at Julia's place for a quick natter (If I have time; I'll be honest there are so many now I can't get round to you all so I have to do a bit of a lucky dip!)

  4. You brought a smile to my face..Organizing it is about all we do to keep our crafting sane. Stack it here, move it there, some days the floor is the best bet, then you walk on tippy toes..
Love the great effect you have going with the Dreamweaver stencil. Thanks for sharing some great ideas and Enjoy WOYWW

  9. Wow... it must be tidy up week! Everything is standing to attention there but at least you've still something creative to share too. I make no bets on how long it will stay like that but know that mine has to remain neat so I can use the butane torch for my jewellery. Don't want any fire risk with all the paper etc.

  27. What a good idea for the storage of your dies. I might have to look at that one. With them stored in a big box I never remember what I have got. Good storage and good labelling may be the answer. Thank you for your visit earlier and your kind comments. Maggie #70

  30. Wow, that's some serious organisational skills being displayed there! Folders for embossing plates, binders for stamps!!! I am going to have to trawl through your blog to see if I can spot them and work out how I can organise my stuff (chucking stamps loose in a big ol' drawer is starting to drive me crazy!!).

  44. wow cannot quite believe all your space in the place which your derogatively refer to as the garden shed 0 definitely more studio - you are impeccable in your attention to detail in things and love the use of the cd stand for your dies - actually have been going to do the same for my unmounted stamps, in DVD cases in categories. However that will be one day to come as I have heaps more things to do before then - craft room for a start .. thanks so much for popping over, and for sharing. Happy WOYWW! love, Shaz in Oz. x #67
